Stories have always captivated me, and some of my earliest memories involve creating stories with both illustrations and writing. Now, as a freelance illustrator my work centers around communicating a story. Writing novels myself, I have a particular interest in book covers, but I'm passionate about storytelling in any form. Other forms of storytelling I enjoy include picture books, movies, games, and graphic novels. I am particularly drawn to fantasy, and like the freedom it gives me in creating worlds and cultures drawn from, but not limited to reality.
I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design with a BFA in illustration. My work is mostly digital, but I enjoy traditional media such as pastels and acrylics as well. I am a member of SCBWI.
